It is with great sorrow that the Therrien Association announces the sudden passing of Diane Pearl Therrien of Edmonton, Canada. Diane passed away on November 9, 2015 at the age of 62 years young and has been one of most interesting and fun participants at the annual Therrien reunions each August. She not only made every effort to be at each reunion by planning her vacations around them, but she brought many members of her family with her.
Diane also made beautiful quilted blankets to donate to the raffle we held every year at the reunions. They were one of the most sought after prizes at these events. The photo below is an example of her quilt work that she made for the United Way in 2009.
Last August she graciously volunteered to be a member of the Association Board and we looked forward to her ideas and contributions to the Association. We offer our sincere condolences to her father Roger and Uncle Claude who often travelled with Diane and to all of Diane’s family. Diane will be missed by all in the Association and was truly a Pearl among us.
